• Unit: ICU (650)
• Number of Beds: 28 (Pod A: 12 beds, Pod B: 16 beds)
• Number of Staff: 42
• Shifts:

  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, number of nurses varies based on census/acuity

Patient Care

• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2, can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity
• Patient Population:

  • Neuro surgical, Trauma (level III, transitioning to level II), cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, ETOH/Drug withdrawal, all vented patients

Equipment and Technology

• Type of Equipment:

  • Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero
• EMR: Meditech

Hiring Profile

Required Skills

• Experience in ICU setting (medical/surgical/neuro/trauma)
• BLS/ACLS certification

Preferred Skills

• TNCC certification
• 2 years of ICU experience
