Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice

Location

  • Days, 8 hours per day

Assignment Length

  • 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • Hospice (1 year of experience)
  • Hospice experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of 15 patients
  • Complete 4–5 visits per day, depending on area and patient acuity
  • Complete charting the same day
  • Provide routine, GIP, continuous, and respite nursing care
  • Perform admission, SIA, and death visits

Travel / Driving

  • Reliable vehicle required to cover a 60-mile service radius
  • Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rate

Additional Notes

  • Oregon RN licensure is encouraged and must be applied for after accepting the contract
  • Floating to Oregon sites may be required
  • Acute/Med Surg experience is highly preferred
  • Local candidates may be considered at a 10% reduced rate
  • Scrubs of any color are allowed; no artificial nails; closed-toe shoes required; hair must be up as applicable
