Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights

Job Description

• Position involves working in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units with Level 1 experience required.
• The facility is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and a busy Emergency Center.
• Candidates can expect outreach within two hours after application, with decisions typically made the same or next business day.
• Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off, or with negative background/employment history, are not eligible for expedited processing.
• New travelers will not be accepted for this position.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Postpartum experience
• Nursery experience
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE certification
  • AWHONN certification

Additional Information

• Initial shift length is 12 hours.
• Local traveler policy applies: candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
• Prior travel experience is not accepted for this role (no new travelers).
