Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Overview

• Temp assignment in Keene, New Hampshire
• Day shift, 10 hours per day
• 13-week contract
• The role is in the Surgery Department and the CST will primarily function in a scrubbing capacity; may also assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NBSTSA
• Driver's License
• Experience with total joint surgery procedures
• Experience with orthospine surgery
• High proficiency in neuro surgery

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment

Scheduling / Availability

• No schedule accommodations such as block scheduling
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
• Travelers may not take all holidays off
• Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not considered
• Not for travelers who want to work in conjunction with another perm placement or travel assignment

Clinical Focus

• Surgical treatment across endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal, and hepatobiliary procedures
• Uses and maintains specialized equipment and supplies for specific surgical procedures
