Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience working with Cardiac patients
- Experience with mechanical ventilation
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with BiPAP
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) experience
- Experience with cardiac drips
- Experience with titratable drips
- Heparin protocols experience
- Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
- Central line care and management experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- EPIC experience
Schedule
- 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- RTO must be included in the submission
Clinical Focus
- Intermediate care unit focused on pulmonary care
- Advanced airway management
- Ventilator, tracheostomy, high flow O2, and bipap patients
- Adult to geriatric patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
- Also includes med/surg overflow
