Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience working with Cardiac patients
Experience with mechanical ventilation
Experience with tracheostomy care
Experience with BiPAP
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) experience
Experience with cardiac drips
Experience with titratable drips
Heparin protocols experience
Experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
Central line care and management experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred

EPIC experience

Schedule

6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
RTO must be included in the submission

Clinical Focus

Intermediate care unit focused on pulmonary care
Advanced airway management
Ventilator, tracheostomy, high flow O2, and bipap patients
Adult to geriatric patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
Also includes med/surg overflow
