Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- Locals accepted at the same rate
Unit / Assignment Details
- Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) are preferred
- Floating is within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
- Call is included: 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4ish weeks
- Weekend coverage is included in call requirements
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- Full compliance is required to start on time
- Georgia state license is required for CRTs and RRTs
- Photo ID required
- Background check must be complete before start
- Education verification of related degree is required
- BLS is required if applicable to the specialty
- ACLS is required if applicable to the specialty
- State license verification is required if applicable
- NURSYS verification is required if applicable
- Color blind testing is required
- Competency exam is required if applicable
- Physical exam is required by Aya
- Negative TB testing or chest x-ray is required
- TB questionnaire is required
- Drug screen is required
- Flu vaccine or declination is required
- 2 clinical references are required by Aya
- Skills checklist within 12 months is required
- Verification of most recent employer is required
Preferred
- Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant, and Robotics (Thoracic) experience
Notes
- Clinical review is case-by-case before manager review
- Maximum RTO is 7 days
- Major holidays may be required during the assignment period
- Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
