Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Radiation Therapist license in South Carolina, with primary source verification
• Experience: 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, with experience within the last year
• Travel experience: One completed travel assignment
• Certifications: ARRT (SCRQSA) and BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Radiation badge: Required and must be provided by the agency
• Education verification: Required
• Background check: Required
• References: 2 clinical references required
• Work history verification: Last 3 clinical employers must be verified
• Application materials: Resume/application required
• Skills checklist: Required and must be updated annually
• State exclusion list: Required

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Aria and Varian Truebeam

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Fit test required before start and annually
• Drug screen required within 90 days of start
• TB screening required within 90 days of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start or declination
• COVID vaccination is not required, but documentation or declination is needed
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required during flu season
• Physical exam required and updated annually
• Color blind testing required before start
• Orientation modules must be completed before start
• Prior radiation exposure attestation required because a radiation badge is needed

Work Setting Notes

• Radiation therapist role for a cancer center
• May need to cross-cover different treatment machines
• Green scrubs

Additional Notes

• Parking is available for nights and weekends only, with a one-time pass fee of $20
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
