Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Los Angeles, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Role Details

• Labor and Delivery unit with 4 triage rooms, 11 LDR rooms, 2 ORs, NICU, and Post-Partum
• Low and high risk L&D
• Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed
• May be placed on call if not needed for the scheduled shift
• 4 weekend shifts per month, Friday or Saturday nights
• Mandatory on-call 2 times per month in addition to the 3 shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
• Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

• RTO must be submitted with the application
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Up to 3 days of RTO maximum
• 1 holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed to be approved
• Must work most holidays
