Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Los Angeles, California
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Role Details
- Labor and Delivery unit with 4 triage rooms, 11 LDR rooms, 2 ORs, NICU, and Post-Partum
- Low and high risk L&D
- Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults
- Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed
- May be placed on call if not needed for the scheduled shift
- 4 weekend shifts per month, Friday or Saturday nights
- Mandatory on-call 2 times per month in addition to the 3 shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated
Additional Requirements
- RTO must be submitted with the application
- No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Up to 3 days of RTO maximum
- 1 holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed to be approved
- Must work most holidays
