Registered Nurse – ER (Night Shift) – Macon, Georgia

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
Call: None
Floating: Within facility scope of practice and to a nearby facility as needed
Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
Holiday Work: Required to work major holidays during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
Orientation: Bi-weekly; full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in 2-week delay
Locals Accepted: Yes, at the same rate

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
