Registered Nurse – ER (Night Shift) – Macon, Georgia

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Contract Length: 9 weeks
  • Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
  • Call: None
  • Floating: Within facility scope of practice and to a nearby facility as needed
  • Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
  • Holiday Work: Required to work major holidays during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
  • Orientation: Bi-weekly; full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in 2-week delay
  • Locals Accepted: Yes, at the same rate

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
