Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Springfield, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (5 days a week, 8-hour shifts)
No weekend shifts required
On-call required 1-2 times per week
Floating within skill set may be required rarely
Block scheduling accommodations available
Locals are accepted

Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center
Magnet designated hospital

Parking permit required, no cost

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

Badge photo submission within one week of contract signing
Completion of computer-based learning modules before orientation day
Review and sign Code of Conduct within 7 days of contract signing
Parking permit form to be completed if applicable

Work Conditions & Policies

All requested time off must be approved by manager
Client may cancel up to 36 hours of shifts per 13-week assignment without pay obligation
On-call shifts count as called-off shifts if not worked

This position is suitable for first-time travel nurses.
