Job Overview

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Setting: Pediatric CVICU
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatrics CVICU (1 year of experience)
Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
Experience working with Pediatric patients
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
PALS
NIHSS

Additional Requirements

2 professional references within the last 2 years
Work history verification covering the last 3 years
Background check required
Education verification required
Drug screen required within 45 days of start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Tdap vaccination within 10 years
TB testing within 90 days of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
Florida AHCA fingerprint clearance required before start

Onboarding / Compliance Notes

Orientation is held on Mondays and Wednesdays
Unit-specific competency and skills checklist are required
Medication/pharmacology testing is required during onboarding
Facility onboarding tasks must be completed promptly before first day
