CVOR Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Utica, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Call schedule: 7 days per schedule
Float to General OR as needed
Weekend shifts: 3-4 per schedule depending on shift
Shift hours: Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Work involves cardio thoracic surgeries including open heart surgery (valve, bypass, ablation), ECMO, femoral cannulation, Impella, balloon pump insertion
General and vascular surgery experience beneficial for floating assignments (e.g., carotid endarterectomy, port-a-cath insertion)
Must be strong in open heart surgery procedures

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
BLS - Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
