Job Details
- Shift: Night (4 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Hours per week: 48
- Floating: Position may float between units
- On-call: Not required
- Weekend work: Yes, variable

- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
- Coverage needed only through the end of September

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via assigned LMS platform
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required prior to start
- Float policy acknowledgment required (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
- WA State Patrol background search required within 90 days of start (updated every 2 years for certain facility types)
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel nurses
- NURSYS license verification required for all RNs
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
Work Environment
- Night shift in a high-acuity NICU setting with variable weekend requirements
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3, indicating close patient monitoring
- Use of Epic electronic health record system
- No parking fees
