Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work primarily on Orthopedic Diagnosis with medical overflow patients.
Float within scope of care/practice; may be asked to float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away.
Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6.
Full contract length commitment required.
Orientation dates: 6/8 and 6/22.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
