Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Work primarily on Orthopedic Diagnosis with medical overflow patients.
- Float within scope of care/practice; may be asked to float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away.
- Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6.
- Full contract length commitment required.
- Orientation dates: 6/8 and 6/22.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
