Location: Fishersville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a variety of medical conditions including cardiac, neurological, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary issues.
Patient population is on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit.
Responsible for coordination of direct patient care and patient education.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5.
Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday; Sundays off.

Valid RN license in Virginia.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
