40 hours per week
Evening or overnight shifts only
- Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Overnight: 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM (Monday – Thursday)
- Overnight: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM (Friday – Sunday)
- Schedule follows 7 nights on / 7 nights off rotation

Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions
Primary source verification of state license
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Fit test for N95 mask within 1 year, updated annually (PAPR not allowed)
Immunizations and titers required within 10 years or as specified:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for certain units)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, annual TB testing required
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
Seasonal flu vaccination required annually or approved exemption with mask-wearing
COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required

Proof of 2 professional references
Completed employment application/resume
Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Photo for badge (passport style, shoulders up, plain background) required before start
Fingerprinting required within first week of contract start (Virginia state requirement effective 1/1/2026)

Facility has zero tolerance for background check issues; any hits may result in cancellation
Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
Candidates must complete required facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start
