Registered Nurse - CCU

Location: Joplin, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have 2 years current and strong LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) nursing skills.
Experience with tracheostomies, ventilators, and drips required.
Patient ratios can be 1:5-6 due to LTAC setting.
Every Other Week (EOW) schedule.
Local candidates accepted same as travel.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 2 years of experience in Coronary Care Unit (CCU), with at least 1 year of recent CCU experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of strong LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) nursing skills
Experience in a Long-Term Acute Care setting
Proficient in tracheostomy care
Skilled in ventilator management
Experienced with drip/infusion therapies

Required Documents & Compliance

Unexpired government-issued photo ID.
Background checks including SS Trace, County searches (last 7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (if applicable), State License verification, NURSYS verification.
Competency exams as applicable.
Photo for badge.
Review and acknowledgment of orientation, safety manual, key clinical policies, dress code, and onboarding forms.
Physical exam within last 12 months.
Fit testing for N95 mask within past year.
Immunizations or exemptions for Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months.
TB questionnaire within 6 months.
Drug screening within last 12 months.
Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
COVID-19 vaccination or declination.
Two professional references within 3 years.
Employment application and skills checklist.
Missouri-specific EDL search results within 30 days prior to start.
