Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Upcoming orientation dates available.
EPIC experience required.
Weekend coverage required every 5-6 weeks.
Call coverage includes Stroke & STEMI (Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology).
7-8 days of call in a 6-week schedule, including 1 weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning.
Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and ventilators required.
Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required.
Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred.
No local candidates accepted.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
National Tech Certification Verification.
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement.
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and ventilators.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
