Respiratory Therapy Job Opportunity - Vineland, New Jersey

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Responsible for patient care through the Respiratory Care process: assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care and achieve desired patient outcomes.

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in Respiratory Therapy.
• Required certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA certified
• Must hold an active RRT credential from NBRC.
• Must have an active Respiratory Care license issued by the New Jersey Board of Respiratory Care.

Contract Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Holiday schedule: Every other holiday off
• Return to Office (RTO): No more than 3 days
• Weekend schedule: Every other weekend / as needed

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination.
• Orientation includes:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules to be completed by Monday of orientation week.
  • In-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday at various locations.
  • POCT class attendance required (not during orientation week).
  • Unit-based orientation schedule provided by the manager.
  • Badge ID appointment must be completed during orientation; photo submissions are not accepted. Badge required for clock-ins.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with various screenings and verifications including:

  • Background check, drug screen, employment and educational verification
  • Immunizations and health attestations (COVID-19 vaccine, Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella)
  • Competency exams and skills checklist
  • Various mandatory trainings and attestations related to confidentiality, core annual training, and regulatory compliance
