Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days/Evenings with weekend and holiday rotation
  Typical shift times include:

  • 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Proof of immunizations or titers for:

  • MMR
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination or declination)
  • Influenza vaccine (required October 1 – March 31; declination accepted)
  • Varicella
• Tuberculosis screening: One-step TB skin test, T-spot, or QuantiFERON within 12 months prior to start date, plus annual TB questionnaire.
• Physical and vision exam within the past 12 months, including systems check.
• Drug screening: 12-panel (no THC) within 12 months prior to start.
• Background checks:

  • 7-year county criminal search, SSN trace, national criminal database within 12 months prior to start.
  • State and national sex offender registry checks within 30 days prior to start.
  • Webchecks within 30 days prior to start.
• Additional required documentation includes:

  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • Professional resume
  • Employment verification
  • Professional references
  • Badge photo
  • Facility-specific forms, core competencies, skills checklist, unit exam, employee bio form (including full SSN and personal details), and fit test.
