Cath Lab Technologist

Location

• Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift
• 40 hours per week
• 4-10 hour varying shifts
• On-call required, including one call per week and one weekend call every 3–4 weeks
• 30-minute response time for call

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS or RCES

Clinical Duties

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases and right and left heart catheterizations
• May also scrub devices and work in electrophysiology cases

Unit Details

• No floating to other units
• 8 fluoro rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro

Orientation

• Training focuses on monitoring in XIM and performing scrub and circulate duties effectively

Additional Notes

• Local placements only within 80 miles
• Scrubs are provided
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• If the clinician has previously worked there, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
