MRI Technologist
Overview
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10 Hour Days
- Hours per week: 40
- Local travel may be required
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- ARRT(MR)
- BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association only
- Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
- Must be able to do IV injections
- State of CT Radiology license
- ARRT(R)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of MR experience in high volume environments
Role Details
- Performs high quality MR studies and patient safety screening
- May train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators
- Works with radiologists and other customers as needed
- Troubleshoots scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment to prevent downtime or delays in patient care
