Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population on assigned units. Ensures quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards. Demonstrates professionalism and respect toward staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

Perform initial patient assessments and prioritize care based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
Systematically re-assess patients to monitor progress and identify when interventions are needed.
Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established nursing standards.
Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes.
Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
Implement and document timely nursing interventions.
Evaluate effectiveness of care plans.
Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, including Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience within the last year
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification

Work Schedule

Full-time, night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

This is a backfill position.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
