• 13-week assignment
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48, must be indicated on the submission form
• Weekend hours: as required by facility/every other weekend
• Call: none
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Auto-offer position

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• Inpatient only
• Flu vaccination or Mercy approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS from AHA only

Unit Details

• Floor: IP Med Surg East
• 15 beds currently; 15 beds under construction
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Patient population: Med/Surg patients

Clinical Environment

• Equipment includes Nova Meters for blood glucose, Alaris IV pump, Kangaroo pumps, and SCD machine
• EMR: EPIC

Additional Notes

• Night shift orients on day shift, and the traveler must be available the entire week for orientation
• Black scrubs required
• No open-toed shoes
• RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end
• Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements
