Overview

  • Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
  • 1 opening
  • 7p-7a shift
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend rotation every other weekend
  • Call may require push-back hours depending on census
  • Float scope: helping hands in areas where competencies apply
  • Patient population: birth to death
  • 32 beds
  • Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:5
  • Trauma exposure: this area does not designate a trauma level, but receives all traumas

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • CPI
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Cerner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with strokes, STEMI’s, and trauma
  • Fast-paced ED experience

Additional Notes

  • Must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel
  • Orientation dates listed by the source: October 26, November 9, November 16, and December 7, 2026
