Emergency Dept RN

Role

RN in the Emergency Department
1 opening
7p-7a shift
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend rotation every other weekend
Call may require pushback hours depending on census

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Preferred

Experience with strokes, STEMI, and trauma
Fast-paced ED experience

Unit Details

32-bed Emergency Department
Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:5
Critical care equipment
Patient population: birth to death
Float support to areas where competencies apply

Additional Notes

Trauma is not designated, but the unit receives all traumas
