    • Baxter Medfusion Pumps
    • Hospira Infusion Pumps
  • EMR System: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills

  • PCVICU/PICU RN experience
  • Ability to manage ICU assignments with intubated/ventilated patients

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing care of PICU patients with congenital heart defects
  • Experience managing care of PICU patients on multiple vasoactive infusions

Typical Procedures Performed

  • Placement of chest tubes, central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines
  • Placement of Quinton catheters, paracentesis, thoracentesis

Personality Fit

  • Must be positive, helpful, and flexible

Required Certifications

  • PALS
  • BLS

Floating Areas

  • NICU
  • Pediatric Surgical Unit
  • Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit
  • Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit

Dress Code

  • Scrub Color: Navy (No T-shirts, sweatshirts, or hoodies)

  • A PCVICU/PICU handbook will be provided.
