Radiation Therapist

Assignment Overview

  • Travel role in La Crosse, Wisconsin
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
  • Shift: 8-hour day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Wisconsin
  • Radiation Therapist experience: 3 years
  • Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
  • ARRT (RT)
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate degree or certificate

Role Details

  • Primary case type: All external beam treatments
  • Patient load: 20 patients per TrueBeam
  • Equipment/software familiarity preferred: Varian TrueBeam, ARIA, Epic

Schedule / Work Conditions

  • Float: None
  • On-call/call-back: None
  • Weekend/holiday work: None
  • Orientation: 8 hours unbillable; orientation week is not guaranteed
  • Compliance: Medical portion must be started within 48 hours of accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start

  • Scrubs: Traveler choice
  • Interview: Teams interview with the manager
