Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapy

Job Details:

• Work variable day shifts primarily from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with hours ranging between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Acute care setting
• No on-call, weekend call, weeknight call, or holiday call requirements
• Perform radiation therapy treatments and simulation (SIMS) procedures
• Average 10 to 30 treatments per day
• Work with 1 CT Scanner and 1 Linac in the department
• Utilize department-specific equipment including Varian Truebeam, Siemens CT Scanner, and alignRT
• Use EMR systems Aria and Cerner for charting
• Preferred experience with ARIA, CBCT, alignRT, and SBRT
• No IV starts required
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Scrubs required; dress code is scrubs
• Department orientation includes 2 days of organizational orientation and computer training followed by onsite department training
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA or ARC)

Facility:

This acute care medical facility operates a dedicated radiation therapy department equipped with advanced technology to support comprehensive cancer treatment services. The department features a Varian Truebeam linear accelerator and a Siemens CT Scanner, supported by a Radiation Oncologist on site multiple days per week. The facility utilizes industry-standard electronic medical record and treatment planning systems to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
