• Day shift, 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and serves as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
• Operates imaging equipment and monitors/document procedure images and events in the control room.
• Provides patient care under RN supervision.
• Educates patients and families about the procedure and pre/post-procedure expectations.
• Maintains unit order, cleanliness, and stock levels.
• Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation and records productivity information.
• Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• RRT with CV specific certification or RCES
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Fluoroscopy Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience

Additional Requirement

• Radiation badges must be supplied by the vendor
