Overview

• Role: Emergency Department RN
• Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12, 7p-7a, with weekend and holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience
• BSN

Key Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings
• Develops and implements nursing care plans, treatments, and interventions
• Provides patient and family education
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks appropriately
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes
• Participates in quality improvement activities and core measures
