MRI Technician Travel Job – New Jersey

Job Details

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel, Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: AM
Hours: 13 hours per day, 39 hours per week
Work Days: Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Job Description

Position patients on the examining table and place specified coils (e.g., head coil, knee coil) near the area of interest following Radiologist protocols
Use microphone system to communicate with patients during examination
Enter patient data, scan details, and positioning information into MRI computer system
Operate MRI equipment controls to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers
Monitor patient safety and comfort through control room window and closed-circuit TV
Review images on video display to ensure quality
Photograph images using camera keyboard
Alert staff about metal hazards in the magnet room
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
MR Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
