Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float

  • Night shift
  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Total 36 hours per week

Job Description

  • Float nurse covering multiple acute care and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite.
  • Units include Ortho, Neuro-Stroke, Cardiac Telemetry.
  • Split 12-hour shifts into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another; requires strong time management skills.
  • Patient ratios approximately 1:4-5.
  • Must float within scope to meet facility needs.
  • No on-call required.
  • Weekend work required every other weekend; flexibility requested.
  • Holiday restrictions: must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no Christmas time off allowed.
  • Facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside approved time off (RTO).
  • Locals accepted; pending license accepted.
  • Manager prefers to avoid travel pairs.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, with telemetry experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Certifications required:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
  • Stroke nursing experience.
