Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General
Location

Contract Length
- 16 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
- 1 call weekend every 6 weeks (includes weekends in call requirements)
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
- First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Job Details
- Position is in a sensitive unit; candidates must review all unit/job details carefully
- Clinical screening required to determine fit before final manager approval
- Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
- Holiday work expected if major holidays fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks, 19 hours for 19 weeks)
Required Qualifications & Compliance
Licensure & Certifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
Additional Notes
- Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
- Privileging and additional compliance checklists apply only to certain specialties (not applicable here)
- Candidate must be prepared to work assigned holidays as outlined above
