Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Float (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Float position with required willingness to float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away (lower acuity).
Unit cares for patients with Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Med Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
Patient ratio experience required: 1:6.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
Open book EKG test required at orientation.
Coverage includes 12 weekend shifts per contract, working every other weekend.
No first-time travelers or local hires accepted.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
One completed travel nursing assignment.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
