Overview

- Hours per week: 40
- Schedule details: Variable hours; no call; up to 3 night shifts; up to 4 weekends; holidays may be required if the unit needs coverage
- Floating: Main unit to ER, with possible floating to portables, OR, and ICU
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (0.5 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Vascular procedure experience
- Portables experience
- ER experience
- PICU experience
- NICU experience
Preferred Experience
- Outpatient experience
- Level I Trauma experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Children’s hospital experience
- EPIC experience
- Rad Net experience
- RMDS-peds certification
- RVT certification
Unit Notes
- Full general pediatric and vascular lab
- Common cases include DVTs, post PICC lines, IJs, peripheral vascular studies, ED appendicitis and testicular cases, ICU portables, and transplant patients
