Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Salem, Oregon
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Total 36 hours per week
  • Outpatient focus

Job Description

  • Perform diagnostic quality CT procedures safely, following ARRT guidelines
  • Participate in various imaging technology tasks
  • Use GE and Toshiba/Canon CT machines (GE experience preferred)
  • Must have outpatient experience and IV skills
  • EPIC experience is a plus

Education & Licensure Requirements

  • Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography (pending acceptable)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Licensed in CT by OBMI OR registered in CT by ARRT
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire

Certifications & Competencies

  • BLS (AHA) required
  • Other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) not required for this position but may be relevant for other specialties
  • Competency exams required with passing scores (e.g., 80% for general competency)

Experience Requirements

  • Must have outpatient CT experience
  • IV skills required

  • Valid driver’s license or state ID/passport required
  • Education verification required for non-licensed providers (not applicable here)
  • Photo for badge required at least 8 days prior to start
  • Completion of facility-specific HealthStream modules by due date required
  • References: 2 references within last 2 years showing 1 year in comparable specialty, at least one supervisory within last 12 months
