Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including sister facilities.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• No more than 5 days of Return to Office (RTO) allowed.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• EKG certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references required: one from a direct supervisor within 1 year, another within 3 years.
• Updated resume covering last 7 years of employment with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• 10-year work history verification including international positions and employment gaps.
• Completion of facility-specific policy acknowledgments and agreements prior to start.
• Compliance with Oklahoma Offender Registration Act and fingerprinting/OK Screen clearance.
• Vehicle information documentation must be completed before clearance.

Notes

• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• Pending state licenses are not accepted.
• Candidates must be able to float to other units/facilities as needed.
• This position requires night shift availability and adherence to strict RTO limits.
