Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of telemetry experience and working night shifts on a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care or telemetry nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
