Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Chesapeake, Virginia
Schedule includes 5x8 and 4x10 shifts with varying start times between 7a-7p
Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call is required
Position is scheduled for 40 hours per week
Overtime should be expected
May be assigned to support:
- Cardiac Cath Lab
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Cath Holding

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Virginia
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
RCIS, RCVT, or RCES

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
One of the following current credentials:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist)
- RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)

Current NURSYS report
