Overview

Travel/contract position in Auburn, New York
2 openings
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
13-week contract
Start date must be confirmed before submitting

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New York
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Required Certifications / Training

NIH Stroke Scale training
Telemetry assessment required on first day of orientation for Labor and Delivery nurses

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

Unexpired government-issued photo ID
Background check covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
HHS/OIG screening
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Code of conduct acknowledgement
Patient abuse reporting acknowledgement
Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement
Orientation packet and acknowledgement, including self-study quiz
Automated dispensing cabinet security acknowledgement
Annual tuberculosis screening questionnaire
Full physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 12 months of start
Tdap within the last 10 years or declination
TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
Measles and rubella immunity documentation
Mumps immunity status documentation
Hepatitis B documentation or declination
Varicella immunity documentation
Drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
COVID vaccine records or declination
2 professional references within 3 years of hire
