Overview

• Travel/contract role in Big Spring, Texas
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: alternating 36/48-hour nights
• Start date within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
• Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Infant patients
• Experience working with Adolescent patients
• Experience working with Adult patients

Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP, as applicable
• CHEMO, as applicable
• TNCC, as applicable
• EFM, as applicable
• ENPC, as applicable
• NIH Stroke Certification, as applicable
• National tech certification verification
• State license verification

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles immunity or vaccination documentation
• Mumps immunity or vaccination documentation
• Rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Drug test
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• Initial COVID series

Additional Notes

• Legal name must match on license documentation, driver’s license, Social Security card, and certifications
• Fit test required within 6 months prior to start
• Accepted fit-test masks: 3M 1860 and 3M 1860S
• Drug test must include the listed panel components
• On-site options may be available for NRP if needed
