ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Edmond, Oklahoma
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Med-surg ICU
• Block schedule not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• 2 former direct supervisor references
• Current and valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
• 10-year work history verification
• Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
• Skills checklist within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Unit-specific competency exam
• Core competency exams I, II, and III
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
• Color blind testing within 60 days prior to start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Background check
• Education verification
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM verification
• HHS/OIG verification

Additional Notes

• All RNs must attend patient care orientation class
• If no EPIC experience within the last 6 months, EPIC class is required before the schedule is assigned
• Fit testing is completed onsite
• Housing/lodging is not specified
