Overview
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 26 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience circulating in the operating room
- Experience providing newborn care including eye care, Vitamin K injections, thigh assessments, and newborn assessments
- Experience functioning as a baby nurse during delivery and continuing care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum
- Antepartum experience
- Post Partum experience
- Nursery experience
Key Clinical Experience
- Labor and delivery experience in high-risk, high-volume care
- Ability to function as baby nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum
- Ability to circulate
- Newborn care skills, including eyes, thighs, vitamin K injections, and newborn assessments
- Experience with heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
- Experience with electronic fetal monitoring
Unit Details
- Float requirement to postpartum and antepartum
- May float to sister facilities that provide mother/baby care
- Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Schedule is posted every 6 weeks based on unit needs
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced
- AWHONN Intermediate
Additional Notes
- Clinical review is required before submission
- EPIC familiarity is required
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
