Role Overview
- Travel/Contract surgical services assignment in Seattle, Washington
- Pediatric facility
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 to 17:00
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Orientation on Mondays
- On call: yes, variable days and times as needed
- Weekend work: yes
- Floating: no
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Washington
- Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- CST
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Adolescent patients
- Experience working with PICU patients
- Experience working with NICU patients
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Experience in a(n) Pediatric ER/ED setting
- Experience with orthopedic and neurosurgery procedures
- Ultrasound procedure experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient experience
- Level I Trauma experience
- Children’s Hospital experience
- Endo/Laparoscopic experience
- ENT experience
- Robotics experience
- NBSTSA certification
Facility Notes
- Teaching, Magnet, and Level I Trauma
- 407 staffed beds
- Scrub color: any color or T-shirt top, age appropriate and kid friendly
- Charting system: EPIC
Additional Requirements
- RTO must be included on the initial submission or it will not be approved
- No RTO during the first 2 weeks due to orientation
- If WA license is not already in hand, start date needs to be set 6 to 8 weeks out for processing
