Job Description

• Provide safe patient care in the ICU using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid California RN License
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care (Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred)
• MEPIC EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred

Required Credentials and Compliance

• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (must score 80% or higher)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (must score 80% or higher)
• Workplace Violence Prevention Certification
• Driver’s License or State ID
• Prime OIG check
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (California-specific)
• Color-blind test (annual)
• Agency Attestation
• SAM/EPLS Excluded Individual Search
• Updated Resume reflecting recent work history
• Two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor)
• COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses plus booster or declination)
• MMR Immunity or Declination

• TB Test within 1 year of start date

• CCRN certification is preferred but not required.
