Contract Length: 13 weeks

Provide speech and/or language therapy services primarily to a Native American patient population.
Treat patients with developmental, cognitive, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities.
Work with inpatient and outpatient populations, ages birth through geriatric.
Assess and interpret evaluations and test results; develop and adjust treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient progress.
Document all assessments, treatments, follow-ups, and service terminations in electronic health records.
Provide specialty services including swallowing evaluations (Videofluoroscopy, Modified Barium Swallowing, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing), cognitive and voice treatments, pediatric speech/language and feeding evaluations, and geriatric and assistive technology clinics.
Educate patients, families, and staff on speech-language procedures and home programs.
Collaborate with physical rehabilitation teams and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in quality improvement, risk management, safety initiatives, and staff/student training.
Maintain medical staff credentialing core privileges.
Regular work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (36 hours/week). Weekend services are not available.

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Arizona.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including experience within the last year.
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form.
Housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start date.
