CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist (Contract)

Location: Lamar, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am, Friday through Sunday (No Call)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using ionizing radiation.
• Produce radiographs with proper technical factors and evaluate each film for exposure and positioning.
• Schedule exams and instruct patients on exam preparations.
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures.
• Use independent judgment and technical skills to ensure quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and administration.
• Adapt to emergency situations and work independently.
• Physical demands include manual dexterity to operate equipment, ability to lift/move patients (with or without assistance), maneuver equipment weighing 20+ pounds, frequent position changes, stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting. Visual and hearing acuity required.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
